    Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits offers up my very favorite "fast-food" chicken bar none!  It's crispy and juicy and tender and the spicy version has just the right amount of kick in that crunchy crust. But Hubby likes the mild version best and it has to be white meat for him. Me, I like it ALL just fine.

    The Raytown location is closest to us so it's where we visit most often. The staff is always helpful and cheerful and we generally get our order to go and get a dinner deal with a couple of sides. That way we have the makings of a late night snack or lunch next day. The sides we seem to like best are the Cajun Rice and the Red Beans & Rice and the Green Beans are good enough to be termed home-made. The meal deals are served with light and fluffy biscuits and be sure to remind your server to send home some of those little packets of honey.

    It's a good meal for the money, but the Chicken is still the Star!  Makes me hungry for some just writing about it.

    Popeyes,

    I called your district office today, Wednesday 9-11-19 and was treated with the utmost disrespect by Adam. Adam did not provide absolutely ANY empathy or ownership to me for the mistake that store #8562. I could not reach the store to make them aware of their mistake, upon calling district office, I was on hold for about 15-20 minutes before Adam came to the line. Adam was very dismissive and extremely condescending in his communication. Adam did not practice active listening and never excused himself when purposely speaking over me. He never even acknowledged his verbal collision. Adam laughed at me and mocked me when I made mention of how he treated me. He told me that it's not my place to "tell him how to do his job". I explained to Adam that was not my intent. At the end of the call, I asked at least 2 questions. No response. The line was not released until I reminded Adam that calls are monitored and recorded for training purposes and that what he was doing to me was definitely a form of "customer mistreat". I called back as soon as Adam hung up in my face. I was on hold for another 10 minutes, someone picked up the line and there was dead air for several minutes. I will never purchase absolutely anything EVER again from Popeyes for as long as I have breath. This is not sitting well with me as I am a very faithful and longtime customer. This is very unfortunate and unacceptable. Something needs to be done. The call needs to be pulled. Adam needs to be coached on how to provide stellar customer service and Adam needs to be coached on how to make the customer's experience as great as it can be. After several minutes of waiting for someone to respond on the live call, I simply hung up. I would love an opportunity to speak with someone concerning this. I was bullied today. Not mad at all at the store for failing to pack an item. I take responsibility for failing to check my box before I pulled off. That's water under the bridge but when it comes down to how I am treated where I spend my money, I have to speak up.

    This location cannot get an order correct to save their souls. They interrupt repeatedly while you order. Absolutely the worst location ever.  Someone above management needs to check it out. On the bright side, it's easy to get through the drive through during lunch rush because the smart people are somewhere else! I'm going to be one of those smart people.

    If I could give this place 0 stars I would.  5 our of 7 orders wrong, and today they told me to wait on spicy chicken for 8 minutes.  When it got dumped, they didnt have any breasts in it which is what I ordered.  I left without even a refund, and will never be back. Period.  The management is horrid,  which makes me question all the other aspects including cleanliness, employee morale, food quality etc.

    Constantly waiting over 30 min for food.  Runs out of main food items such as gizzards, chicken tenders and thighs. The worst customer service I have ever seen. I will not go back and I suggest no one else does either.
